New Behavioral Health Site Opens in Oakley

The day before being released from prison after having served more than 28 years, Lawrence Finney was told there was a kidney available for him to receive as a transplant. He accepted the transplant and spent an additional two months in prison receiving care. When Lawrence arrived in California, he had less than two weeks of medication left, no primary care doctor, and he was desperate to control some complications that had arisen with his transplant. Fortunately, Lawrence was linked to care through the North Vallejo Transitions Clinic.
