La Clínica celebrated the Open House for its newly expanded La Clínica Children’s Dental Clinic. Nearly 55% of the more than 6,000 patients served annually are medically compromised. This site is only one of 2 children’s dental clinics in Northern California that serves pediatric patients on Medi-Cal that need special care and the only children’s dental clinic in the country that is connected to a Children’s Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center.

The recent completion of the expansion of La Clínica North Vallejo has increased the number of exam rooms from 9 to 15, which will more than double the number of patients we can serve annually from 4,600 to 10,000. La Clínica North Vallejo site is one of our fastest growing health centers. The number of patients served has more than tripled from 1,400 in 2008 to 4,600 in 2011.

La Clínica’s Behavioral Health Training Center provides a graduate clinician training program with dynamic supervision from LCSWs, LMFTs, Licensed Psychologists, a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, with an emphasis in providing culturally responsive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practice for the Latinx* community.
