Since 1973 Community Health Education (CHE) has enhanced the lives of the diverse communities we serve by providing programs and services that focus on the social determinants of health in order to enhance overall wellness and disease prevention. People free of preventable diseases live longer, healthier lives, and benefit the entire health care system by reducing health care costs. The CHE team comprised of more than 25 staff and over 60 active community promotores, volunteers and peers value Innovation, Empowerment and Collaboration to increase health access, overall well-being and disease prevention.
