At La Clínica, our goal is to promote best practices in our health centers and embed tools that will enhance quality of care for our patients. To accomplish this, the NextGen Electronic Practice Management (EPM) system has officially been implemented at all of La Clínica sites. EPM is a software that allows staff to manage appointments, registration, billing and much more. With the EPM in place, we intend to rollout Electronic Health Records (EHR) at our North Vallejo site by the end of the year. By converting from paper records to electronic files, we will:
- Centralize patient information into one database
- Improve the management of chronic conditions
- Increase health center efficiency
- Promote self management of care
